Hello, this is another weekly blog post. Letting you know what I have been up to this past week.
To keep it short, not a whole lot but I do have stuff to share.
I released WIP tracks onto my alt soundcloud
Yeah, the same account with classics like the "Momo's Funny Mic" series and other meme tracks is hosting some of my work-in-progress tracks right now. Below is a full list of my current WIP list.
- Old School Remake - Remaking the Old School track from the beach house album, which is a remake of new from the 3 letter album. Yeah, you could say I can't move on but can you blame me, it sounds cool. I think this remake while not being a complete rewrite of the beach house version is still unique enough to probably get its own release in due time. To be honest, this version is what that track should have been but whatever. I have changes I have and am going to make to this.
- Peanuts Trash - Been holding onto this track for a while but never did anything with it. I just uploaded it so I can stream it anywhere and maybe an idea will come in my head.
- You Are So Special - Me singing. I found this old video on my phone where I guess I was in a restaurant and this was their 'happy birthday' song. I say "I guess" because the video was all black, just the audio. It's not great quality either so I bit-crushed it a bit to mask that and I think it sounds cool. Then I started singing extra chords on top, are they good?
- Shopping - This isn't very interesting, but I might sample it and turn it into some house stuff later on.
- I also have all of the pocket music tracks, which will probably be a bandcamp and website exclusive album; it's just house loops, nothing worth uploading on streaming.
Still working on my website project
Plan to have it done in a week, which is a tall order with how busy and lazy I am.
Video in April?
I plan to pick up a project I started (and mostly completed) in November but tack on extra stuff to it and release it sometime in the start of April. I could upload it sooner but April is the anniversary of the topic in the video so it will have to wait. Everyone has been so busy with work and school that times to meet up or call have gone through for one thing or another. We were about to have a chat the other day but then the power went out, talk about bad timing. Maybe one May hits and schedules start to lighten up we can do more stuff. I also should probably do stuff on my own, suggestions welcome.
